The NRA (Conceal Weapon Firearm License) basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. This course is a hands-on practical portion conducted in a classroom and shooting range with a NRA certified Instructor.
Includes classroom for firearms safety & familiarization and 1 hour shooting at local range. This course is a 3 hours training. Includes 1 cycle of 50 rounds at the range, range fees, ear/eye protection and gun rental if needed.
Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and/or semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Law Enforcement Instructor and/or Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor.
