The students will learn the three rules for rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearm accidents; firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports. Students will receive the Basic Firearm Training Program completion certificate.
This course teaches the student safe gun handling that is conducted in the classroom and range. Students are taught rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearm accidents; firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports. Students will receive actual training by shooting a cycle of 30 rounds at a local range and upon course completion you will receive a certificate allowing students to apply for the State of Florida Concealed Weapon Firearms License. This course is geared towards the individual that prefer to learn on a one on a one (parties of 2 are acceptable at additional reasonable fee).
